Aim of our cattery is to breed healthy Burmese cats with the correct characteristics of the breed, interesting pedigrees and fabulous temperaments.

Most of the cats which I have bred have been loved family members however we have also had a number who have become show cats and breeding cats.  I have exported cats to Finland, Switzerland and the USA.

Within our family it is myself who has the greatest interest in cats however we all have a great love for the Burmese breed

holding a diploma

The cattery has gradueated with diploma in SVERAK.
I am also a member of the cat club Fräsets kattklubb where I am currently involved in the board.

dog interested aswell

Besides cats I have a great interest in dogs.  My Irish Setter, Crazy’s Tara, was a trained rescue dog and I have competed with her daughter Flannery Tullia-Missil as a civilian search dog.  Sadly Missil was put to sleep at the end of 2014 so I am no longer involved in competitions.

I WORK AS A

VETERINARIAN

I work as a veterinarian at the Universtiy Animal hospital in Uppsala. My specialist interest is small animal reproduction in which I have gained a PhD.  I am also a Swedish specialist in small animal (dog and cat) reproduction, and Diplomate in animal reproduction, subspeciality small animals.

I was first introduced to the Burmese cat breed in December 1989 during an unfortunate event when our neighbours needed to rehome their two Burmese cats temporary following a house fire.  Nobody was home but the firemen were able to rescue two cats, a brown female and chocolate male. The cats stayed with us for a while when the house was repaired. In January 1989 they had a litter and I bought my first Burmese, EP Ch Svanstippen’s Juliette (BUR n). Juliette had her first and only litter in 1990, the first litter born to Deerhunters.  In 1991 I moved to Scotland to begin my veterinary studies and in 1992 I imported the red female EP EC Pagagena Francesca (BUR d) from Lady Patricia Yardley in Oxford, England.
